Dorotha Webster Obituary, Death – Notice of Death for Dorotha Webster of Covington, Pennsylvania, On Saturday, February 3, 2024, Dorotha “Dot” Cleveland Webster, 87, of Covington, Pennsylvania, went away quietly in the company of her kids. Tuesday, December 15, 1936, saw her birth in Blossburg, Pennsylvania. Dorotha was adored by many people and had an unwavering devotion for her family. She finished a lot of projects and was a Jack of All Trades.
She loved to share the history of Tioga County and was an avid history buff. Dorotha cherished taking trips to Colorado and relished showcasing her vast collection of hand-dug rocks and diamonds. She also enjoyed sharing the tales of her rock collection. Dorotha also delighted in creating artwork and drawings with her grandchildren.
Sons-in-law and daughters survive Dorotha.
The following people have passed away: Shirley (Rich) Welch, Kathy Phillips, Sandy Pfeifer, Robin Tomlinson, Deanna (Donny) Weber, Shaun Johnson, Kris Johnson, son Ronald Tomlinson; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; husband Kevin Webster; and a special dog, Chase, who was always by her side, eager to smuggle in a treat. Her parents, five brothers and their spouses, one sister, three sons-in-law, one grandson, and one great-grandson all passed away before her.
Dorotha ran a salon in Wellsboro and worked for many years as a beautician. She was a member of the Blossburg Ambulance and the owner and operator of the Towne Tavern in Morris Run, Pennsylvania. She even spent a few years working at Ballards in Covington. She looked after a lot of people and would go at any time to take care of someone who called. On Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the Blossburg Fire Department will have a celebration of life. The family is receiving assistance from Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA.
